Overview:

Several carriers have specific needs for Value-Added Services (VAS) consisting of a complex array of objects, dependent on various conditions. Due to the organization-specific nature of these requirements, they should not be handled at the backend. To accommodate this complexity and ensure compatibility, these VAS conditions are to be addressed through CFM.

New Feature:

We've made it easier to ship items with special requirements or additional services. Our new feature allows you to include detailed information about these services directly in your shipment details. This means you can now:

  • Add value-added services: Specify services like insurance, customs clearance, or special handling for your shipments.

  • Use flexible formats: Input your data using a simple JSON format, which is perfect for handling multiple items or services at once.

  • Get instant feedback: Our system will automatically check your data for errors, ensuring that your shipment information is accurate and complete.

Feature Capabilities:

  1. CFM-Driven VAS Setup: Users can now set up value-added services directly in CFM. This ensures that any carrier-specific requirements are accounted for in real time without relying on backend configuration changes.

  2. Customizable Object Arrays: CFM allows the creation of VAS objects (such as service types, delivery preferences, or additional handling requirements) based on the unique needs of each carrier. Each object can be configured with multiple conditions, ensuring flexibility. Before we only had the option to add single values which has now been fixed with this feature.

  3. Conditional VAS Application: The system automatically applies VAS based on the conditions defined in CFM. This eliminates the need for manual intervention and ensures that only valid services are added according to the carrier’s needs.

  4. Real-time Monitoring & Reporting: The integration of VAS with CFM allows for real-time monitoring of which services are applied, with detailed reporting available for internal audits or carrier feedback.
