We're excited to roll out a significant enhancement to the Customer Portal that simplifies and strengthens compliance for international consignments — HSN Code Integration with Smart Suggestions.

🚀 What’s New

🧠 Intelligent HSN Code Autosuggestions

Introducing dynamic HSN suggestions in the Single CN Creation flow for International shipments.
As you type in the item modal:

  • 🔹 1–3 characters: Suggestions are intelligently derived from the Item Description (if available).

  • 🔹 Post 3 characters: Suggestions shift to match HSN Codes, ensuring accuracy and standardization.

Each suggestion includes:

  • ✅ HSN Code

  • ✅ Description

  • ✅ Regional Name (when available)

🔍 A helpful tooltip next to the HSN field educates users on its relevance in international shipping.

🔧 HSN Utility Tool for Bulk Uploads

Now accessible from the Quick Actions panel, this standalone tool allows customers to:

  • Search for relevant HSN codes outside the CN flow

  • Copy HSN codes directly for use in Excel-based uploads

  • Reduce errors and improve classification in high-volume shipping

🔗 HSN Suggestion APIs (Customer + Client Level)

For API-integrated partners, we’ve launched robust autosuggestion APIs to fetch real-time HSN recommendations.

  • Customer API – Based on API key authentication

  • Client API – Based on Basic Auth

These endpoints are lightweight, responsive, and designed to plug seamlessly into your systems.
