We have recently revamped and upgraded our Courier Tracking to improve the UI and overall usability by enhancing it with multiple features.
Details
Earlier, the clients used to define the custom mapping of 3PL status to Shipsy status, which was shown as “pretty status” to the end user. This was a very basic version of tracking that has been improved greatly with multiple feature additions and UI improvements, mentioned below:
The “Settings” tab has been added in the Carrier Tracking tab for easy access to Tracking Settings for the client organization.
The Default tab has been added in the Carrier Tracking tab, which shows the default list of pretty statuses to be shown to the external customer.
Webhooks status mapping is now available in the front end, which can be mapped to the organization’s front end by the user.
We have defined default NDR mapping for all existing 3PLs, which is also available on the front end.
We have added better and more granular searching and filtering options for the users.
We have added an option to Bulk Download and Bulk Upload Statuses according to filters and selections done by users.
We have also added the option to select mapping under Carrier Account Config for custom mapping to Carrier Accounts.
Benefits
All these additional features will improve the overall usability of the Courier Tracking module.
Users can easily access, search and filter the statuses and map them to carrier accounts in a more intuitive manner.
The overall UI improvement has elevated user experience and offers extended capabilities to users.
