Shipsy introduces an update to improve the handling of consignment cancellations and Return to Origin (RTO) flows, particularly for consignments post the "pickup completed" status. This enhancement ensures that the cancellation and RTO processes are more aligned with operational needs and client expectations.

New Feature Overview:

  • Cancellation API Enhancement: The cancellation API for Shipsy 3PL now distinguishes between consignments that are pre and post "pickup completed" status, applying appropriate logic to transition consignments to "rto_initiated" status when necessary.

  • Configurable RTO Logic: A new configuration allows for the customization of the RTO flow, enabling organizations to define whether a consignment should move to "rto_initiated" status following a cancellation request.
