We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our Transportation Management System (TMS) with the introduction of the improved Recommendation Engine. This feature is designed to streamline logistics performance by reducing manual interventions in trips planned via our optimizer, ensuring a more efficient and reliable planning process.

Key Features

• Multi-Order Handling: The engine now supports grouping orders based on shared delivery locations or pickup clusters, enabling better organization and planning.

• Flexible Clustering: Orders are intelligently divided into clusters based on their hub codes. This allows for personalized rider assignments, even when dealing with a single order per cluster or multiple orders requiring optimization.

• Simulation Mode: A new flag has been introduced. When set to true, the optimizer evaluates the best grouping options without making permanent assignments, offering a strategic overview for planning.

• Detailed Order Information: The API now accepts comprehensive consignment data, including action types, consignment and movement types, and detailed origin and destination information, ensuring all relevant data is considered during optimization.

• Customizable Allocation: Incorporating customer reference numbers allows for seamless order creation and allocation, based on group IDs provided during the order placement.

• Enhanced Vehicle and Order Management: The system facilitates the addition and removal of consignments and changing vehicles post-optimization, with all changes reflected accurately in trip tracking for comprehensive oversight.
