Overview:

An important enhancement has been introduced to enable separate OTP confirmations for Out for Delivery (OFD) and Undelivered tasks. This feature ensures that different OTPs are generated and verified at the time of delivery and when marking a task as undelivered. By implementing distinct OTPs for these stages, the process enhances verification and prevents potential misuse, promoting greater transparency and accountability throughout the delivery cycle.

Key Capabilities:

• Sending SMS in case of undelivery -> when the reason is selected along with OTP

• This OTP will not be the same as the OFD OTP.

• The latest OTP should be shown on the dashboard (meaning, OFD OTP should be shown on the dashboard till the CN is in OFD, once the rider selects NDR reason the new OTP should be shown)

Benefits:

• Enhanced Delivery Verification: A new OTP is generated when a task is marked undelivered, ensuring a fresh confirmation for non-delivery. This prevents misuse and guarantees that undelivered tasks are properly validated.

• Real-Time Transparency: The latest OTP is dynamically updated on the dashboard—OFD OTP is shown while the task is in progress, and the NDR OTP replaces it once a non-delivery reason is selected. This ensures clear visibility into the status of each delivery attempt.

• Improved Customer Communication: Upon selection of an NDR reason, an SMS with the new OTP is automatically sent, ensuring that customers are kept informed and reducing the chances of missed or false delivery attempts.
