Another step in this direction is our newly released Client Integration API for Status Update, which places geofencing checks on events.

This comes as an excellent offering for our clients who wish to use their existing rider apps but use our allocation logic/optimizer/SDK for intelligent operations management. So, whenever there is an event on their application, they can call this API to fetch the geofencing details for the event from Shipsy’s system.

For instance, when a rider marks a delivery-related event in the app, the clients can call this API to check the geofence details and allow the rider to move ahead with the next step in the task sequence if the geofence is true. The rider is not allowed to move ahead with the next step in the task sequence if the geofence doesn’t align with the action marked by the rider in the app. 

This API enables our clients to have greater control over on-demand delivery operations and enjoy advanced operations management capabilities outside the umbrella of our rider app.
